21 Jump Street 3 to be released in late 2027
Sony has officially finalized the premiere dates for several high-profile projects. The next chapter in the 21 Jump Street comedic franchise is set to hit international theaters on December 10, 2027, followed by Ridley Scott’s reimagining of Treasure Island, starring Hugh Jackman, on November 11 of the same year.
This third entry follows the success of the original 21 Jump Street and its sequel. Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, and Ice Cube are expected to reprise their iconic roles. Rodney Rothman has been tapped to direct, working from a screenplay he co-authored with Hill and Megan Malloy. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who helmed the first two films, will return as producers.
The details surrounding Treasure Island are equally compelling: Ridley Scott is set to adapt Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel with Hugh Jackman leading the cast. The script is penned by Jack Thorne, renowned for his work on the series *The Virtues*. Scott is also producing the film alongside Michael Pruss under their Scott Free banner.
