1.61 Update: Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition

As part of these festivities, we are delighted to introduce the exclusive Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition to Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the arrival of the upcoming 1.61 update. Let’s dive into the details and see what awaits you on the virtual open road.

Having been established in 1927, the Volvo Group is gearing up to celebrate its 100th anniversary next year. To honor this prestigious legacy, Volvo Trucks has crafted a special anniversary iteration of its flagship model, the Volvo FH Series 6. We are immensely proud to bring this commemorative edition straight to the virtual highways of Euro Truck Simulator 2.

The Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition introduces a stunning aesthetic overhaul to both the interior and exterior, perfectly encapsulating a century of automotive innovation and driver-focused craftsmanship. Once the 1.61 update goes live, these additions will become seamlessly integrated into the base game, offering dedicated virtual truckers a suite of bespoke accessories and paint jobs tailored specifically for the Aero XL cabin.

Striking Exterior Customization

On the outside, this update introduces two distinct paint schemes: the 100y Edition – Night and the 100y Edition – Day. Both designs showcase sophisticated dark or light exterior striping, elegantly accentuated by commemorative Centennial emblems mounted on both sides of the chassis. Furthermore, drivers can choose between two unique light boxes—one featuring the official 100y logo and another bearing the iconic FH16 branding.

A Refined, Driver-Centric Interior

Step inside, and you will discover a completely redesigned cabin layout. The new interior option features premium black leather door panels accented with meticulous stitching, bespoke floor carpets, and a striking rear wall panel proudly displaying the 100 Year Edition logo. To set the ultimate mood on long-haul journeys, a customizable ambient LED dashboard lighting system is available in selectable red or blue color profiles.

To round off the cabin experience, you can personalize your workspace with a selection of exclusive accessories. Highlights include a luxurious black leather steering wheel and contemporary two-tone seats, which cleverly combine a sturdy black leather base with an upper grey textile section stamped with the 100y insignia.
