Zach Bryan is bidding Kansas City farewell as the NFL season approaches.

On August 8, the 29-year-old country artist declared he would never return to the Midwestern city following a heated exchange with Kansas City Chiefs supporters.

Bryan, a devoted Philadelphia Eagles supporter, taunted Chiefs fans on X, questioning the whereabouts of the “three-peat” enthusiasts after Kansas City’s failed attempt at a third consecutive Super Bowl title in 2025. Read his post.

Chiefs followers responded angrily. “Three Super Bowl wins in five seasons—compare that to the Eagles’ two titles in their 70-year history. Sit down, Oklahoma Eagles fan,” one user scolded. Another added, “Just another obnoxious Eagles supporter.”

The “I Remember Everything” singer then vowed never to play in Kansas City again, lamenting, “I’ll hit my final note and then take a mocking call in that stadium.” See his tweet.

Bryan’s ire was directed at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs’ fortress and frequent haunt of Taylor Swift, who often cheers on her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce.

At one point, a fan demanded he remove “Fifth of May (Live from Kansas City)” from his digital-only album 24 Live. Bryan quipped, “Consider it done,” yet as of August 10 the track remains available. View the exchange.

“Sometimes all it takes to annoy a Chiefs fan is playing a clean game of football,” Bryan added. “Trash talk among football fans is normal—you guys are something else.”

Still, he expressed fondness for the area, tweeting on August 10, “I miss you, Bonner Springs—I’ll see you next year,” referencing the suburb just outside Kansas City. His message.
