Yet Another Zombie Survivors Leaves Early Access on August 20

Yet Another Zombie Survivors will leave Steam Early Access on August 20, 2026. The 1.0 release will arrive on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S at the same time. A Nintendo Switch version is planned to follow.

The action roguelite has sold more than 600,000 copies during Early Access. It has also collected over 13,000 Steam reviews, with 91 percent of them rated positive.

Version 1.0 adds main and side missions, a hub area, another Survivor and a new map. Players will also find a new mode, arena bosses, achievements and additional challenges.

Each run is built around a squad of three Survivors. Characters develop through nine skill trees, allowing the same team to be tuned for different weapons and combat roles.

To mark the announcement, developer Awesome Games Studio is making Yet Another Zombie Defense HD free to keep from July 23 through July 30.
