Yasuo Trailer Drops — Riot Promotes 2XKO Fighting Game in the LoL Universe

Riot Games has been developing a fighting game set in its universe for several years. Despite skepticism from some players, the studio continues to push the project forward.

On October 7, 2025, 2XKO entered early access as a free-to-play title and aims to attract discerning fans of the genre. Radiant Entertainment’s new project looks confident in recent materials, bolstered by the studio’s prior experience making fighters.

The studio previously created Rising Thunder. Although it launched well and cultivated an active community, the game eventually left the market — at the time PC fighting games drew very little interest.

In a recent 2XKO video the character Yasuo is showcased with an aggressive, high-energy combat style. Riot faces a difficult challenge: if even Ed Boon’s Mortal Kombat 1 didn’t manage to astonish, success in the fighting-game space is far from assured.
