From time to time, some big luxury brands are interested in video games. We remember Caviar, a Russian company renowned in very high-end leather goods, which offered a solid gold PS5 for € 320,000. Today, it is the famous Gucci house (whose Ridley Scott film is due in a few weeks), which has decided to customize Microsoft’s Xbox Series X to make it with its clothes. Result: a luxury case in which we find the Microsoft console and two controllers, all sold for the sum of 10,000 dollars. So obviously, faced with the € 320,000 for the PS5 Caviar, it’s light, but the Xbox Series X Gucci has been the subject of special care in terms of making. It is enough to take a look at the console to see that the GG monogram, emblem of the Italian brand, has been laser engraved on the entire hull of the machine. The GG has a special meaning for Gucci since it means “Good Game” and “GG” for the geek reference that we find on social networks.
The two controllers were made in matte black with the two bands of the Italian brand (red and blue) which run through the accessory, knowing that the Gucci name appears at the bottom of the controller. But that’s not all, the carrying case has also been made with great care and in the tradition of the Gucci brand. The deliberate vintage look refers to the first designs of the Italian brand, with numerous storage compartments inside. Made in only 100 copies, this Xbox Series X Gucci will therefore be offered at a price of 10,000 dollars from November 17 in several Gucci stores around the world, here is the list: New York Wooster, Berverly Hills Rodeo Drive, Mexico City Moliere Palacio de Hierro, Milan Gucci Circolo, London Gucci Circolo, Berlin Gucci Circolo, Beijing SKP and Tokyo Shibuya Parco. Anyone who buys this one-of-a-kind machine will walk away with unlimited access to Xbox Game Pass. It’s a bit the least of things …
