Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember Developers Reveal Aggressive Boss and New Skills

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember has received a new gameplay trailer showcasing the boss Zuochi, who demonstrates new skills that allow players to counterattack after deflecting attacks and stun enemies by slamming them into walls.

An alpha demo for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is available until September 30, 2026, and the new video from Tokyo Game Show 2026 focuses on the aggressive Chinese mythology boss Zuochi. His fangs measure 60 to 72 inches in length.

Insight Skills allow players to immediately transition into a counterattack after a standard deflection. Players can also slam the boss into a wall to stun him by utilizing the surrounding environment.

The game introduces Divine Beast Manifestation. Instead of a standard divine beast summon used to deal elemental damage, the hero receives an empowered form with powerful attacks for a limited time. The developers drew inspiration from Nioh 3 when creating the world, and the movement system resembles Ninja Gaiden.

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will be released on March 4, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
