Acclaimed actress Winona Ryder is set to make a guest appearance in the third season of the hit series Wednesday, according to Deadline.
This project marks a high-profile reunion with director Tim Burton, marking their fifth professional collaboration following their most recent work on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
“I am thrilled to have Winona join the cast; she is a perfect fit for this gothic world,” Burton remarked in an official statement. “Beyond being a dear friend, I have always felt incredibly lucky to share a set with her.”
Ryder will step into the role of a character named Tabitha. While production for the third installment has already commenced, the official release date is being kept strictly under wraps. Her casting follows the recent announcement that Eva Green has also joined the ensemble.
Wednesday, which stars Jenna Ortega in the titular role, debuted in 2022 and saw its second season premiere in 2025.
