Will Oldham has narrated a brand new documentary concerning the Louisville Public Library system referred to as Our Library, the Courier Journal experiences. Produced by filmmaker Morgan Atkinson, the doc explores the affect of free libraries on a group. Along with narration, Oldham additionally contributed vocals to the movie’s soundtrack. He’ll be on the free public screening for the documentary on October 18 at Louisville’s Ursuline Arts Center. Our Library can even start airing on Kentucky Educational Television (KET) on October 22 at 10 p.m. Eastern.
Oldham’s new album Songs of Love and Horror is out Friday. It options solo acoustic variations of songs from the Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Palace catalogs. Oldham’s new book of lyrics arrived earlier this month.
