Amid swirling fan speculation, Noel Gallagher has addressed whether Oasis plans to modify their Live ’25 Tour setlist.

From the triumphant reunion kickoff in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4, the Gallagher brothers have delivered an identical 23-song lineup at every performance—spanning a five-night residency at Manchester’s Heaton Park and stadium spectacles in London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

On August 4, the tour reached Toronto’s Rogers Stadium, marking the launch of the North American chapter with upcoming stops in Chicago, East Rutherford and Pasadena across the next two weeks. As “Lyla” underscored a promotional clip teasing the band’s first Canadian performance in nearly 17 years, many enthusiasts anticipated adjustments to the setlist.

The Live ’25 repertoire—played in full in Toronto—draws predominantly from the Britpop icons’ first two albums: 1994’s Definitely Maybe and 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? Absent from the post-2000 catalogue are tracks like “Lyla” and “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” despite the latter’s status as one of their most streamed songs.

British comedy writer Matt Morgan weighed in on the unvarying setlist during a recent podcast episode, revealing a conversation he’d had with his close friend Noel Gallagher. The duo—who have collaborated on BBC Radio 2 and multiple podcast episodes—prompted Morgan to remark, “It’s wild that they’re playing the identical set every night.”

“I expected them to shuffle a few songs,” Morgan recalled. “I asked Noel, ‘Don’t you want to mix things up?’ He replied, ‘No, I prefer it this way. I know exactly what I’m doing. We deliver it with precision.’”

Morgan elaborated on meeting the songwriter-guitarist after Oasis’ Wembley Stadium concert. “Noel seemed genuinely elated. On Friday, he slipped away swiftly, but on Saturday—free of subsequent commitments—he lingered with fans, clearly delighted by the experience.”

He added, “Throughout the past year, our conversations about the setlist evolved. The final choice resonates brilliantly—it feels fantastic. Noel appears genuinely content onstage; he’s not merely going through the motions.” Later this year, Oasis will take the Live ’25 tour to South America, Australia, South Korea and Japan, concluding on November 23 at São Paulo’s Estádio do Morumbi.
