Team Asobi appears to be preparing a surprise for fans of Astro Bot and The Last of Us. A brief clip posted to the studio’s X account is captioned “How will you start this season of terror?” and is accompanied by a pumpkin and the hashtags #ASTROBOT and #LastOfUs.
In the clip featured are Astro Bot, PlayStation icons, and bot versions of Ellie and Joel sprinting away from a menacing Clicker.
It seems likely the team is preparing a Halloween update with free levels inspired by The Last of Us. While Team Asobi hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, the hints in the teaser are hard to miss.
The update would be timed for Halloween and appears intended to draw back players craving fresh content.
This isn’t the developers’ first seasonal addition — last year they introduced the Winter Wonder level, which fans received warmly.
For now we wait for an official announcement, but all signs point to Astro Bot receiving new levels and themed assets that should revive interest and bring players back.
