Wilco’s biennial Solid Sound Festival will return to MASS MoCA subsequent 12 months from June 28-30. The lineup hasn’t but been introduced, apart from Wilco themselves, who’ll headline. “After almost two years off the road, we’re going to be so excited to be back on stage together,” says Jeff Tweedy in a press launch. “I can’t wait to have that feeling again.”
A brand new “Friends of the Festival” cross features a pageant poster signed by Wilco, an autographed copy of Jeff Tweedy’s forthcoming memoir, a non-public lounge with an “intimate pop-up performance,” and extra. The pageant, whose proceeds profit MASS MoCA’s arts education schemes, additionally consists of “comedy stage, naturalist/outdoor activities that exemplify the spirit of The Berkshires, a broad variety of family activities, local food, craft beer and cider, and more,” in response to a press launch. The 2017 instalment of the fest included units by Television, Kurt Vile, and Kevin Morby.
