First, he noted that the fourth novella "unfolds in a brilliantly atmospheric setting," while the fifth entry will serve as the narrative conclusion to Egg's childhood era. <p>"[We] can explore Egg as a prince, delve into court intrigue, incorporate compelling sequences at Summerhall and King’s Landing, and establish a completely fresh dynamic where they aren't constantly journeying across the countryside," Parker explained.</p>
<p>Additionally, Parker disclosed that Martin has shared confidential, unreleased written materials with him. He characterizes these contributions as "genuine narrative prose discovered tucked away in his personal archives that he transmitted to us, which we integrated into our plans." The showrunner confirmed he was given supplementary lore that—within the context of Martin's personal records—is considered absolute canon.</p>
