Why Bunnie XO Has Kept Out of the Spotlight with Jelly Roll During Their IVF Journey

Bunnie XO is being forthright about the emotional strain and physical demands she’s endured during her months-long IVF treatment alongside her husband, country sensation Jelly Roll.

On her Dumb Blonde podcast, the 45-year-old host (Alyssa DeFord) explained why she’s kept a low profile with her 40-year-old spouse in recent months.

“Someone told me, ‘You two used to be inseparable—now I barely see you together,’” she recounted, referencing a People article. “I wanted to say, don’t you realize I’ve been on IVF meds for half a year? He’s out there working to support us while I’m tied to injections and appointments at home.”

She went on to describe the heartbreak and exhaustion brought on by six continuous months of hormonal therapies and procedures.

Despite it all, Bunnie made a rare appearance at SummerSlam 2025 in early August, passionately cheering Jelly Roll as he made his WWE ring debut against Logan Paul. Watch the moment.

As stepmother to Jelly’s children—daughter Bailee Ann, 16, and son Noah Buddy, 7—she’s been transparent about her IVF journey on both her podcast and social media. In late July, she shared a heartfelt TikTok summarizing the first half of 2025.

“I’ve had to skip so many joyful moments, my body’s been through the wringer, and I’m utterly drained mentally and physically,” she wrote alongside a photo cuddling her pet cow. “Yet I sense a turning point—I’m emerging from the cocoon, trusting that God’s timing is perfect.”

Earlier this summer, Bunnie announced a pivotal update in their IVF process. “When you finally get the call you’ve been waiting on for five months,” she posted on Instagram, clarifying that while it wasn’t a pregnancy reveal, it was “a huge win for us.”

In March, she reflected on the isolation of fertility treatments: “It’s just you, the hormones, the waiting, the egg retrieval… it’s a lot to carry,” she confessed during her podcast.
