Who’s Replacing Doechii at All Points East Festival After Her Withdrawal

On Thursday, August 21, festival organizers confirmed that FKA Twigs would be taking over Doechii’s slot on Saturday, August 23.

Earlier, on Tuesday, August 19, the festival announced Doechii’s withdrawal without specifying a reason. In an Instagram statement, organizers said, “We regret to announce that Doechii will not be performing at her scheduled shows. She is a remarkable artist, and we, along with her fans, were eagerly anticipating her set.”

Doechii also pulled out of Paris’s Rock en Seine on August 21 and Bristol’s Forwards on August 24, with both events issuing similar notices and no further explanation. The artist has not publicly commented on these cancellations.

Through an Instagram update, All Points East revealed that London-based FKA Twigs will join Saturday’s bill at Victoria Park. RAYE remains the day’s headliner, with Tyla, JADE and other artists also set to perform.

Earlier in the week, Sault, Cleo Sol and Chronixx headlined on August 15, followed by Chase & Status on August 16. Over the remaining weekend of August 22–25, Barry Can’t Swim, RAYE and The Maccabees will close out the festival.

Fresh from a European tour, FKA Twigs has teased her next project following 2025’s Eusexua. At the Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands, she declared, “I have new music—rich and ready to emerge. Its title is Afterglow, and I will begin labor next month.” A spokesperson later confirmed to Pitchfork that Afterglow is a wholly new album, not a deluxe edition of Eusexua.

Doechii’s most recent U.K. appearance was at June’s Glastonbury Festival, where Billboard U.K. hailed her set as “an all-time great debut” and “one for the history books.”

Over the past month, she performed at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival, Chicago’s Lollapalooza in early August, and most recently at Belgium’s Pukkelpop on August 17. Doechii is slated to embark on her Live From the Swamp North American tour this October.
