WME today announced that Whitney Boateng has joined the company as an agent in the music department, based in London.
Boateng was most recently a promoter at Live Nation. She previously launched ‘The Ends Festival,’ a predominantly Black music festival celebrating culture and art from across the African and Caribbean diaspora.
“The nearly sold-out event was praised for its authentic presentation, apt artist selection and astute interpretation of the modern Black British identity in turn setting a new precedent for the UK festival experience,” a press release from WME reads.
Boateng also co-founded the Bold Women Win Big foundation, a platform dedicated to empowering women with opportunities to develop their careers within the music and creative industry.
