Ondi Timoner‘>The first trailer for the Robert Mapplethorpe biopic has been launched. The movie, starring Matt Smith because the famed photographer, tells the story of “Mapplethorpe’s life from moments earlier than he and Patti Smith moved into the famed Chelsea resort, dwelling to a world of bohemian stylish,” in accordance with a press launch. Mapplethorpe was directed by Ondi Timoner. It hits theaters March 1, 2019. Zosia Mamet had initially been tipped to play Patti Smith, however was dropped due to scheduling conflicts.
