Sharon Van Etten has launched a brand new video for “Comeback Kid.” It was directed by Jonathan William Turner. “As the lyrics for ‘Comeback Kid’ unfolded, I realized I was talking about many selves: the kid, the adult, the sibling, the friend, the neighbor,” Van Etten stated in an announcement. “I imagined a projector streaming over me of memories, unclear if they are mine or someone else’s, confronted by the disorientation of time and perspective.” Watch it beneath.
“Comeback Kid” seems on Van Etten’s forthcoming LP Remind Me Tomorrow, which is out January 18 by way of Jagjaguwar. Van Etten additionally introduced a 2019 tour that may kick off behind the brand new album. Find her itinerary here.
