Earlier this month, Sharon Van Etten carried out at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the annual live performance sequence BBC Proms. For the present “New York: Sound of a City,” numerous artists from the town had been invited to hitch the Heritage Orchestra beneath Jules Buckley. Van Etten took the stage for a canopy of LCD Soundsystem’s 2007 monitor “New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down.” Watch their rendition under.
Last Year, Van Etten reissued her 2009 debut album Because I Was in Love. In 2015, she shared the EP I Don’t Want to Let You Down; her final album Are We There arrived in 2014. LCD Soundsystem’s Gavin Rayna Russom and Nancy Whang not too long ago introduced a co-headlining DJ tour. In 2017, the group dropped their glorious LP American Dream.
