Serena Williams has launched a video of herself masking the Divinyls‘ 1990 hit “I Touch Myself” on Instagram. Watch the video beneath. In the accompanying caption, Williams acknowledged that the quilt is part of the I Touch Myself Project, a breast most cancers consciousness initiative aimed toward reminding girls to self-check their breasts commonly. “Yes, this put me out of my consolation zone, however I wished to do it as a result of it’s a problem that impacts all girls of all colours, all around the globe,” she wrote. “Early detection is key – it saves so many lives. I just hope this helps to remind women of that.”

The I Touch Myself Project was launched in 2014 with bra producer Berlei, in partnership with the Breast Cancer Network Australia. Williams has lengthy been an envoy for the model. The consciousness marketing campaign was launched after the demise of Divinyls’ lead singer Chrissy Amphlett, who handed away following a combat with breast most cancers.
