Japanese pop artist Haru Nemuri dropped her latest single, “Old Fashioned,” and also shared the accompanying lyric video.
The track directly expressing the alternative singer-songwriter’s anger and feeling of resignation towards society was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Chris Gehringer of Sterling Sound, who has worked on Haru’s previous singles including “Seventh Heaven.”
The new lyric video — which displays the meaning of the Japanese lyrics in English as part of the visuals — was directed by Haru’s VJ Humungas.
Haru Nemuri is set to perform a solo-headlining show on Aug. 31, her first concert with a live audience since April 2019 (excluding her annual free birthday show). She will also tour North America in early November.
