The teaser debuted on a mysterious website called “Gilga”
Donald Glover shared the first teaser trailer for the new season of his FX show Atlanta. The show’s creator and star tweeted it out via a link to a site called Gilga, which features a clock, the user’s location, and a link to the trailer. Featuring b-roll from various European cities soundtracked by Sun Ra’s “It’s After The End of the World,” the teaser closes with a close up of Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) at a table and a final frame with “2022.” Check it out below.
In a series of now-deleted tweets, Glover also questioned comparisons of his show to Lil Dicky’s Dave, which airs on FX sister network FXX. “We got black people on here debating which is better, and IM the sellout?” he tweeted.
