A representative for Arcade Fire told Pitchfork that, for now, the band is scheduled to perform during only Coachella’s first weekend. The band is readying the release of the new album WE, which arrives May 6. The follow-up to 2017’s Everything Now was produced by Nigel Godrich, Win Butler, and Régine Chassagne. So far, Arcade Fire have shared lead single “The Lightning I, II,” along with a music video directed by Emily Kai Bock. Shortly after announcing WE, Will Butler revealed that he left the group after the recording of the new album.
