Deadline reports that Warner Bros. has become the first Hollywood major to exceed $4 billion in global box office revenue within a single calendar year.
This is the studio’s strongest performance since 2019. Earlier, Warner made history as the first studio to open seven films that each earned over $40 million in their U.S. debut weekends.
Among the studio’s 2025 releases are Minecraft: The Movie, Sinners, Superman, a Formula 1 film, Weapons, The Conjuring 4, and others. This week Warner Bros. is releasing Paul Thomas Anderson’s Battle After Battle, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role.
