Warhammer: The Old World Team to Open Pre-Orders for Lich Priest and Royal Herald Miniatures

This week pre-orders open for the arcane volume “The War of Settra’s Fury” and miniature kits featuring Liche Priests, a Battle Standard Bearer and a Prince of Tombs for Warhammer: The Old World, and large combat force boxes for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis will also be available.

On October 4, 2025, Games Workshop will launch pre-orders that extend beyond just Warhammer Underworlds kits.

Fans of Warhammer: The Old World will be able to purchase a 48-page arcane journal, “The War of Settra’s Fury,” which chronicles Settra’s full-scale invasion of the Border Principalities and the Svods and includes rules for several units.

A boxed set will offer two plastic Liche Priest miniatures — one mounted on an armored bone steed and one on foot — along with four head options and assorted accessories.

You can also buy a set of Royal Messengers — the Battle Standard Bearer and the Prince of Tombs. Both figures include multiple arm options, chest ornaments, cloaks, and two head variants.

For Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis fans there are three large combat-force boxes — shown by the team last week —: Legiones Astartes (Space Marines) with 131 miniatures, Mechanicum with 150 miniatures, and Solar Auxilia with 157 miniatures.

In addition, customers will be able to purchase issue 517 of White Dwarf, Tomy plush toys — a Space Marine, a Blood Bowl ball, Gloomspite Gitz merchandise, and a boxed set of novels by David Annandale centered on Commissar Sebastian Yarrick (“Imperial Creed,” “Fires of Armageddon,” and “Chains of Golgotha”).
