Warhammer Age of Sigmar creators unveil new Ogre hunter and sabre-tusk set

Games Workshop revealed new miniatures for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, showcasing Ogor hunters known for their stealth and their loyal sabre-tusk companions. This unit joins the Ogor Mawtribes army, which was recently unveiled at The Big Summer Warhammer Preview Show 2026.

The new set includes three skilled hunters and two sabre-tusks. These scouts operate far ahead of the main army, spending weeks away from their tribes to master survival techniques. Their size often belies a surprising ability to infiltrate enemy lines unnoticed.

Hunters engage in brutal melee combat like their kin, but they rely on heavy crossbows to strike from a distance. These weapons pierce multiple targets at once, and the hunters use their stealth training to secure ideal firing positions.

Players can remove this unit from the battlefield and redeploy it within three inches of a terrain feature. This must occur more than nine inches away from all enemy units. The hunters cannot use this redeployment ability during the first turn of the first battle round.

Sabre-tusks serve as predatory enforcers for the hunters. These beasts attack targets before any foe can reach their masters.
