Meteorologist Adam Krueger suggests that the atmosphere is charged with romance in the wake of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement.

Embracing the challenge, Krueger seamlessly interlaced multiple lines from “Love Story” into his weather update—segments he later shared on Instagram on Wednesday, August 27. “I close my eyes and the flashback starts, I’m standing there on a balcony in summer air—sweltering,” he quipped during the heat advisory.

Continuing with his lyrical flair, he forecasted, “Expect heavy rain and gusty winds—like Romeo tossing pebbles—accompanied by sporadic hail.”

It proved serendipitous that Krueger was also monitoring Tropical Storm Juliette. Echoing the line “And my daddy said, ‘Stay away from Juliet,’” he cautioned viewers to steer clear of the perilous system.

This isn’t Krueger’s first musical tribute; his forecasts have previously spotlighted tracks by KATSEYE, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem. Back in January 2024, he dedicated a segment to Swift’s single “Karma,” much like a meteorologist in Wales who honored the Eras Tour when it hit the UK that June.

What distinguishes Krueger’s latest homage is the rapid turnaround—he posted his lyrical forecast just one day after Swift and Kelce announced their engagement, sharing photos of the proposal alongside the 14-time Grammy winner’s dazzling diamond ring, accompanied by the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
