Updated Bodies of Water in Euro Truck Simulator 2 — Screenshots of the Benelux Overhaul
Euro Truck Simulator 2 keeps receiving fresh content, while the team also continues to refine its existing regions.
The creators of the long-haul driving simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have published a new development diary focused on the “Benelux” project (the Benelux Rework is rebuilding Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg).
This time SCS Software invites players to explore improvements to the water management system:
“The Benelux countries have been shaped for centuries by rivers, canals, and the sea. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Netherlands, where people have long adapted to this powerful element—constructing dikes, canals, and polders to control it or reclaim fertile land. Much of the Netherlands lies below sea level, so an extensive network of dikes and barriers is vital to keep these areas safe and livable.”
During cargo deliveries in ETS 2, players will have the opportunity to drive across a variety of bridges.
No release date for the Benelux rework in Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been announced yet.
