TuneCore named Becky Sebber as chief financial officer. Based out of its Brooklyn headquarters, she will report to Matt Barrington, COO and co-head of TuneCore.

Owned by Paris-based company Believe, TuneCore is the leading independent DIY digital music distributor. The two companies work together to support artists throughout all stages of their careers.

“Becky brings with her a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the technology and music worlds, exactly where TuneCore sits,” said Barrington. “Her experience speaks for itself and I’m looking forward to her leadership as the company grows.”

Sebber joins TuneCore from Condé Nast where she was vp of operations and strategic planning, overseeing finance, operations and strategy for the company’s TV, film and digital video division. Prior to this, Sebber was vp of finance at Vevo where she played a key role in the music video network’s launch in 2009.

In her new role, she will oversee all financial operations across TuneCore’s central business units and work closely with each finance team as both TuneCore and Believe continue to leverage their relationship to maximize opportunities.

“TuneCore is one of the most exciting companies in the music industry right now,” said Sebber. “The spirit of this company, its employees and its artists are truly inspirational and I’m excited to make an immediate meaningful contribution to TuneCore’s growth.”
