Tomorrow, President Donald Trump is about to signal the Music Modernization Act into legislation, Variety, Billboard and TMZ report. Kanye West will reportedly be current. The invoice was created to replace copyright safety for songwriters and artists within the digital and streaming period. After passing unanimously in the U.S. Senate final month, the invoice was returned to the House for approval after which handed to President Trump, whose signature is required for the invoice to enter impact.
Trump and Kanye already had a previously arranged meeting for lunch on the White House. It was initially introduced that West and Trump would focus on manufacturing in Chicago and job alternatives for former convicts. This would be the second time West has met with Trump, the primary being at Trump Tower in December 2016 shortly after Trump was elected President.
