Travis Kelce reacts to Taylor Swift showing wedding ring in touchdown celebration

Travis Kelce addressed Taylor Swift’s viral reaction from the Sunday, Sept. 20, Kansas City Chiefs game during the Wednesday, Sept. 23, episode of New Heights.

The tight end and Jason Kelce reviewed footage of his first touchdown of the season against the Indianapolis Colts, which showed the pop star celebrating by pointing at her wedding ring and yelling, “That’s my husband!”

“Listen man, proud wife, baby,” Travis said. “Gotta make my girl proud.”

“Just doing my deed as a husband,” he added as the brothers viewed memes inspired by the moment.

“Me after failing to parallel park in the same spot 10 times and and he gets out to do it himself,” one meme read, prompting Travis to call it “too good.”

Another caption read, “How I want my wife to react when I fix the wifi by unplugging i and plugging it back in.”

“That’s a banger,” Travis said. “Yep. I am IT.”

Swift attended both Chiefs games this season from a box suite at Arrowhead Stadium. The team plays its first away game on Sept. 27 against the Miami Dolphins.

The podcast episode coincides with the 14-time Grammy winner’s announcement that she will release The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore on Friday, Sept. 25. The deluxe edition of her 2025 album, which spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard 200, includes four new songs and the single “Patient Zero.”
