Train Sim World 6 Trailer Revealed — Is the Release Worth the Wait?
The team at Dovetail Games are seasoned specialists in railway simulation. Their latest title, Train Sim World 6, is poised for release.
Rail-themed games have a long history and often draw broad audiences — examples include Sid Meier’s Railroads and Railway Empire. Among these projects one franchise particularly stands out today: Train Sim World, whose sixth entry is set to arrive on PC and consoles on September 30, 2025 — that is, tomorrow.
Train Sim World 6 continues the studio’s recent practice of issuing expanded, numbered editions. This installment introduces three extensive new routes, eleven locomotives, and a notable series-first: random events that can produce train failures, collisions, and other unexpected hazards. All of this remains built atop the franchise’s somewhat dated engine.
