Trails in the Sky: The 1st Chapter Adds First-Person Mode, Falcom Changes the Game’s Feel
Nihon Falcom has released update 1.05 for Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter on PS5 and PC. The patch introduces a first‑person view and an option to hide the HUD, allowing players to sink deeper into the world of Zemuria.
All new features are already available on PS5 and PC, while the Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch versions will receive the update at a later date. The first‑person perspective changes how the game is experienced, echoing perspective‑switching mechanics seen in titles like GTA V and others. The patch also brings quality‑of‑life improvements: text corrections, interface refinements, and enhanced stability.
Key changes:
- added graphics and performance settings for Switch 2;
- introduced controls for text speed and auto‑scroll;
- added hotkeys for dual‑button actions;
- enabled first‑person mode and an option to hide the HUD;
- implemented a range of tweaks and bug fixes.
Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter is available on PS5, Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
