Trailer Released for Petit Planet — Cozy Animal Crossing‑Style Game from the Creators of Genshin Impact

miHoYo’s roster of games continues to expand.

Recently miHoYo (HoYoverse) released a teaser and has now unveiled the full trailer for Petit Planet. Insiders were right: the game draws clear comparisons to Nintendo’s Animal Crossing franchise.

Petit Planet is being marketed as a space-based life simulator — you’ll take part in familiar genre activities such as building, gathering resources, and farming:

“When you gaze at the stars, have you ever dreamed of owning your own planet? Here you’ll craft your ideal life — design and build, plant and harvest crops, befriend eccentric fluffy neighbors, and infuse your world with the mystical presence known as Luka.”

The developers have opened sign-ups for Petit Planet testing; no release date has been announced yet.
