The Good Things Festival is poised to electrify Australia this December with a powerhouse lineup headlined by progressive-metal legends Tool and alternative-rock icons Weezer.
Spanning three days—December 5 through 7, 2025—the festival lands at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Sydney Showground in Sydney, and Brisbane Showgrounds in Brisbane.
Los Angeles stalwarts Tool will return to Australian stages for the first time since their 2020 headline tour, joined by Weezer, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their landmark The Blue Album.
Stateside heavyweights dominate the bill: Garbage, All Time Low, Machine Head, Knocked Loose, and The All-American Rejects—the latter making their first appearance Down Under in 16 years.
Swedish hardcore pioneers Refused embark on what could be their final Australian shows, while Make Them Suffer and a reunited Tonight Alive bolster the local contingent. ARIA Hall of Famer James Reyne rounds out the roster as the festival’s veteran Australian artist.
International newcomers Bad Nerves, Dead Poet Society, and Wargasm will debut on Australian soil, complemented by homegrown acts Civic, Inertia, Windwaker, and Yours Truly.
Since its 2018 inception, Good Things has filled the void left by the defunct Soundwave festival, hosting headliners such as The Offspring, Parkway Drive, Bring Me the Horizon, and Korn. In 2024, Sum 41’s final Australian dates were regrettably cancelled due to frontman Deryck Whibley’s health issues.
