A park in Gainesville, Florida has been renamed Tom Petty Park in honor of the late singer. On what would have been his 68th birthday, a dedication ceremony occurred on the public space previously referred to as Northeast Park. Petty’s daughter Adria Petty and brother Bruce Petty spoke to a big crowd of followers on the park that Petty used to come back to when he was a toddler, in keeping with The Gainesville Sun. A brand new career-spanning set of Petty’s music known as The Best of Everything can be out on November 16 through Geffen Records/UMe. In September, his property launched a field set that includes unreleased music, alternate variations, stay takes, deep cuts, and rarities known as An American Treasure.
