Now that the Cyberpunk 2077 bad buzz is in the rearview mirror, CD Projekt Red can focus on the continuation of its projects. Among these, the so-called next gen’ version of The Witcher 3 which is long overdue and which continues to be postponed, but which we have just had news of. Indeed, following the anniversary date of May 19, 2022, the Polish studio first published a new visual of its game, in order to celebrate its 7th anniversary. We see a Geralt of Rivia in an attack position, with a cold and piercing gaze, which gives him an authoritarian stature. The illustration is splendid and is already used as wallpaper for some players. CD Projekt Red took the opportunity to announce that the version optimized for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will arrive in the last quarter of 2022. We remind you that this delay was caused by the in-extremis catch-up of the port internally, after having entrusted the optimization work to Saber Interactive, which was therefore withdrawn from the project. For what reasons ? We’ll probably never know… In the meantime, we know it’s a native 4K display, 60fps, Ray-Tracing and reduced loading times. Let’s hope the result is worth it.
