The United Nations World Food Programme introduced on Friday (Dec. 1) that WFP Goodwill Ambassador The Weeknd (who now goes by his start identify, Abel Tesfaye) has directed $2.5 million from his XO Humanitarian Fund to help the WFP’s humanitarian response in Gaza.
The group stated that the donation — equal to 4 million emergency meals — will fund the supply of 820 metric tons (approx. 1.8 million kilos) of meals parcels that might feed greater than 173,000 Palestinians for 2 weeks.
