“The Scouring of the Westfold” supplement and Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game miniature sets are coming to pre-order

Fans of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game can preorder the Scouring of the Westfold supplement this week. New sets featuring Rohirrim soldiers and Hill Tribesmen also arrive for preorder.

Preorders open on July 4, 2026, alongside a new starter set for Warhammer: The Old World.

The Scouring of the Westfold includes 11 linked narrative scenarios. These allow players to recreate iconic Rohirrim battles from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

The publication features guides on painting horses, building Isen Fords, upgrading Rohan houses, and crafting the plains of Rohan. Players need the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game Rules Manual and Armies of The Lord of the Rings to use these scenarios.

The Riders of Rohan set contains six cavalry miniatures. These soldiers carry armor, shields, sidearms, and bows. Four models can equip throwing spears, and all parts for the riders and horses are interchangeable.

The Warriors of Rohan Commanders set provides a captain, a banner bearer, and a warrior with a war horn. The kit includes cosmetic options to customize the models.

The Hill Tribesmen Commanders set features a chieftain, a banner bearer, and a hornblower. Players can equip the chieftain with a two-handed weapon, a one-handed weapon, and a shield. Alternatively, the set allows for building a Oathmaker who binds the Dunland tribes to Saruman.
