After two years of inactivity, the official Twitter account for the Mafia sequence has tweeted out a single phrase: Family.
The tweet coincides with Mother’s Day right here in North America, but when latest emblems are something to go by it’s extra doubtless the tweet is teeing us up for an upcoming Definitive Edition.

Last month, Definitive Editions of Mafia 2 and Mafia three appeared on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee and registered for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The trademark listed 2K Games as writer, with Mafia three developer Hangar 13 engaged on the undertaking.
However, rumors of a Mafia 2 remaster have been swirling since last year when Take-Two Interactive registered emblems – together with one for Mafia 2 and one other merely for MAFIA.
This was adopted earlier this 12 months by confirmation from Take-Two, talking in a name with buyers, that two of its studios are engaged on unannounced titles which we will probably be listening to about “in the coming months.”
Last month we noticed one other inactive game account abruptly come again on-line – Crysis, which simply as mysteriously supplied up a single tweet following years of silence. Crytek would confirm Crysis Remastered simply three days later.
