The O’ Jays have introduced a brand new album. The Last Word would be the last album from the legendary R&B group. It’s due out February 22 through S-Curve. The group has shared the LP’s first single, “Above the Law.” It arrives with a politically charged lyric video that includes many present and up to date occasions together with footage of the Black Lives Matter motion, the swearing in of Brett Kavanaugh, Colin Kaepernick, and far more. Watch under. For this document, the O’ Jays are made up of Eddie Levert Sr., Walter Williams Sr., and Eric Nolan Grant. Their final studio document was 2010’s Christmas with the O’Jays.

“Above the Law” was composed by soul legend Betty Wright and Angelo Morris. “Living in a climate of surreal reality TV, etc, I decided to address subject matter on subjects that matter in the REAL world,” stated Betty Wright in a press release. “‘Above the Law’ describes the habits and habitat of true menaces to society.”
