The Killers machine keeps on rolling with the release today of their seventh album, Pressure Machine.
Spanning 11 songs, the new set was co-produced by the band, Shawn Everett, and Jonathan Rado (of Foxygen), and features an assist from Phoebe Bridgers on “Runaway Horses”.
To celebrate the release, the Las Vegas rockers shared the animated video for album track “Quiet Town.”
The LP arrives less than a year after Imploding the Mirage debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and it’s said to be “a view into the everyday realities of a small American town with a stark, tough beauty, and The Killers’ most restrained and resonant album yet,” according to the blurb accompanying the release.
Brandon Flowers and Co. will hit the road next month in support of Pressure Machine, with a run of live dates booked from Sept. 20 at Newport’s Ovation. A warm-up will take place next Thursday (Aug. 19) at Terminal 5 in New York City.
