The Cure to Play Massive 2026 Outdoor Shows in the U.K. and Ireland

The Cure to Headline Major U.K. & Ireland Outdoor Shows in Summer 2026

Published October 1, 2025

The Cure will headline a string of large-scale outdoor concerts across the U.K. and Ireland in summer 2026.

The trek opens at Marlay Park in Dublin on June 26 and continues with a stop at Belsonic in Belfast’s Ormeau Park on June 28. The band will later play Wythenshawe Park in Manchester on August 21, then close this run with a headline appearance at the Edinburgh Summer Sessions — Royal Highland Showgrounds — on August 23.

Tickets go on sale Friday, October 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. BST via The Cure’s official website. Fans who previously joined the band’s mailing list will receive pre-sale access and details ahead of the general sale.

Support for the dates will rotate between an array of notable acts, including Mogwai, The Twilight Sad, Slowdive, Just Mustard, Stella and the Dreaming, and The Slow Readers Club.

Alongside these standalone shows, The Cure are lined up to headline the Isle of Wight Festival and appear at several major European festivals next summer, such as Primavera Sound, Nova Rock and Rock en Seine.

Last autumn the group released their fourteenth studio album, Songs of a Lost World, which reached No. 1 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 — the band’s highest U.S. chart position since 1992’s Wish. The album also topped multiple Billboard genre and format charts, including Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Vinyl Albums.

Reflecting on the record’s reception, frontman Robert Smith told the Official Charts Company that the warm response had been deeply moving and expressed gratitude to everyone who listened and supported the band over the years.

Earlier this summer, Smith made a surprise appearance during Olivia Rodrigo’s Glastonbury headline set, joining her to perform Cure classics including “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven.”
