The Chainsmokers are making a film primarily based on their Memories… Do Not Open single “Paris,” as The Hollywood Reporter notes. According to THR, the group’s Drew Taggart and Alex Pall will produce the movie, whereas Mickey Rapkin—writer of the e book that impressed the Pitch Perfect franchise—will write the screenplay. A projected launch date has not but been introduced.

In an announcement about their new firm, Kick the Habit Productions, the Chainsmokers mentioned, “The age of being only a musician is over and we’re excited to go all-in on this venture to curate, produce and create meaningful projects.” Dan Marcus, CEO of the brand new firm, added, “They don’t just sing about these themes in their hit songs—it’s who they are.”
