The Beta Band have introduced that they’re reissuing their traditional debut compilation, The Three EPs. It arrives September 14 on Because Music, in honor of its 20th anniversary. The set consists of the band’s first three releases: Champion Versions (July 1997), The Patty Patty Sound (March 1998), and Los Amigos del Beta Bandidos (July 1998). The Three EPs was initially launched in September 1998 on Regal. Listen to the brand new, remastered model of “Dry the Rain” under.
The Three EPs re-release marks the start of a full reissue marketing campaign of the Beta Band’s discography. Their Best of the Beta Band compilation is receiving a reissue on September 14, as nicely. Later this fall, their debut self-titled full-length will get a re-release on October 12, Hot Shots II on November 16, and their remaining album, Heroes To Zeroes, on December 14.
In honor of the marketing campaign, a Beta Band exhibition is coming to London’s Bomb Factor this fall. Curated by Justin Hammond, Zeroes To Heroes: The Beta Band Archive runs from September 13 to November 3.
