Pop-rock trio The Band Camino goes back to the past for their frenetic video for “Know It All.”
“We really wanted to capture that ’90s/early 2000s energy where New York was sort of a character in itself,” Jeffrey Jordan, Spencer Stewart and Garrison Burgess tell Billboard. “We kept the shoot pretty loose, which led to a lot of happy accidents and moments we could have never tried to plan. Basically a night just being ourselves, running through New York City with a bunch of different cameras.”
The video, which premieres below, combines a vibrant rooftop performance with grainy footage of the trio exploring various corners of the city.
The spiky track, featured on the trio’s self-titled full-length debut out Sept. 10 on DBLBLK/Elektra, explodes as the protagonist reveals that his ex-love may have told her new beau about her past, but he doesn’t “know it all,” especially about a certain time in Montreal.
“Know It All” is the latest peek into the new set, which also includes current single, “1 Last Cigarette,” which stands at No. 17 with a bullet on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart. The band’s 2019 EP, Tryhard, reached No. 20 on Heatseekers Albums.
The Nashville-based act will open for Dan + Shay on the pair’s North American tour starting Sept. 9 in Greenville, S.C.
