A brand new Worms game shall be coming later this yr, developer Group17 has introduced.
The studio confirmed the information at the moment over Twitter with a brief teaser video exhibiting the development of the Worms franchise over time on an animated tv. The teaser ends with a worm beating the tv to items.

This would be the studio’s first main Worms title since 2016. Worms has been the flagship franchise for the UK studio for over 20 years – a whopping 16 games have been launched within the collection between 1995 and 2010. But in the previous couple of years Group17 has moved extra into the game publishing world, releasing games like Overcooked, Yooka-Laykee, and My Time at Portia.
