Taylor Swift Is Stuck on Ed Sheeran’s ‘Bad Habits’: ‘I Legitimately Cannot Get It Out of My Head!’

Taylor Swift is here for it! The pop superstar shared her appreciation for Ed Sheeran‘s newly released single, “Bad Habits,” in a gushing tweet Friday (June 25), hours after the song dropped.

“Ed has a new song out and I legitimately cannot get it out of my head!” she wrote. “And this VIDEO!! Stream/Buy/Support/bop to it uncontrollably all summer #BadHabits”

She wasn’t finished sharing her love for her pal’s song, though. Shortly after the tweet, she posted an Instagram Story featuring an image from the English singer-songwriter’s music video. Swift captioned it in big red letters: “It’s Ed and it’s glitter so it’s a yes for me.”

In the glampy music video for the catchy new tune, Sheeran is dressed as a colorful, sparkly vampire running around town at night, wreaking havoc with his fellow blood suckers and putting his superhuman powers on display before he transforms back into a human as dawn breaks. And a bonus for feline fan Swift? The video also briefly features an adorable gray hissing kitty.

“Bad Habits” is Sheeran’s first official release since 2019’s No. 6 Collaborations Project. He announced the song on June 11.

“I’ve been working away in the studio over recent months and I can’t wait for you to hear ‘Bad Habits,'” Sheeran said in a statement at the time. “I always aim to push myself and my music in new directions and hopefully you’ll hear that on the new single. Feels great to be back!”

The four-time Grammy winner has been busy as of late. Besides releasing his latest tune, he’ll also be doing a residency on James Corden’s “The Late Late Show” the week of June 28. But the singer-songwriter got a head start Thursday when he crashed the comedian’s show and interrupted Corden’s monologue to offer some feedback and start rehearsing. Sheeran eventually apologized and explained that he was just incredibly excited for next week. “I just have so much respect for you,” he explained. “I just want to make you proud, man!”
