One of pop’s biggest stars continues to get her devoted fanbase in their feels, while a certain queen returned to music for the first time in nearly a year. But which new music release is your favorite?
Taylor Swift‘s Red (Taylor’s Version) is the talk of the town, with her devoted Swifties reduced to puddles of tears and crumpled-up tissues after the first few listens.
Though details of a forthcoming Beyoncé album are hush-hush, the singer is lending her vocal chops to the King Richard soundtrack, which will tell the story of her friends Venus and Serena Williams’ rise to tennis superstardom. The song “Be Alive” may or may not be an indicator of what’s to come on her next project, but the 40-year-old confirmed “Yes, the music is coming!” in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
K-pop darlings TWICE also dropped their newest full-length album, Formula of Love: O + T = <3, which features their No. 10-charting Global Excl. U.S. single “The Feels” — their first effort entirely in English — and new track “Scientist,” which sees members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu telling their lovers that there’s no need for special equations or chemicals when it comes to true romance.
Plus, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have finally released their debut album as Silk Sonic, An Evening With Silk Sonic, which includes their two-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash “Leave the Door Open.”
