Taylor Swift and Spotify Reveal Billboards Featuring Eras Tour Stage Ahead of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’
Spotify Rolls Out Cryptic Billboards Ahead of Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl
Published September 29, 2025

Taylor Swift and Spotify have launched a teasing visual campaign in the days leading up to the singer’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl.
On Monday, September 29, fans began spotting mysterious Spotify billboards in several cities. While the digital ads differ in color, each one displays an outline of Swift’s Eras Tour stage — a silhouette that unmistakably resembles a key.
Observers have reported sightings in countries including England, Brazil and Mexico, though the purpose of the posters remains unclear. Spotify also shared the same motif on its Instagram account, pairing the image with a single key emoji and a flaming heart.
Representatives for Swift were contacted for comment.
The timing of the billboard rollout coincides with Spotify’s announcement of a New York City pop-up titled The Life of a Showgirl: A Spotify Experience. The three-day activation — running Tuesday, September 30 through Thursday, October 2, 2025 — promises hidden Easter eggs and curated photo moments inspired by the album.
The album itself is scheduled to arrive on October 3, 2025. Concurrently, Swift is hosting a theatrical event called Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, which will screen in partner cinemas from October 3–5, 2025.
Below is Spotify’s Instagram post showcasing the same key-shaped stage motif.
